Do not let your mobile phone get wet. Even small amounts of water can corrode internal components, causing anything from the display to the memory to stop working.
WATER DAMAGE WILL VOID YOUR PRODUCT WARRANTY.
Keep your mobile phone in a protective case, especially while at parties where any kind of liquid may spill on it.
If your phone does get wet, leave it to dry. Do not turn it off until it has completely dried otherwise further damage may occur to the electronic components. If the handset does not work after it has been allowed to dry, take it in to a TSTT Mobile Store or a TSTT Approved Dealer to be checked.
LOST or STOLEN Handsets
When out and about during the Carnival season, ensure that your mobile phone is securely attached to your person. This will minimise the risk of it getting lost or stolen.
However, if your mobile handset does get lost or stolen, safeguard yourself against someone abusing your mobile service by doing the following:
- Make a report to the nearest police station
- Call TSTT at 824-TSTT or visit a TSTT Mobile Store to have your mobile phone service temporarily deactivated
You will have to provide:
- An Identification Card or Driver's Permit (which must match the information submitted to TSTT when the account was opened)
- A copy of the Police Report
You will be required to settle any outstanding balances on your account and will be bound to any contractual agreements. You are then free to take up another mobile service if you wish.
HAVE A SAFE AND HAPPY CARNIVAL!
