TSTT and Western Union Money Transfer Launch New Bill Payment Service

More and more, national telecommunications service providers like TSTT are required to  proactively develop convenient ways for customers to transact business with them. “It is no longer adequate to have customers come in to our offices. We need to give them the opportunity to do business with us in a manner that is hassle free and complements their needs and lifestyle.   TSTT Customer Services Manager Martin Roach made these comments as the company concluded an agreement with Grace Kennedy T&T Limited to offer customers another convenient option for paying their telephone bills. This alliance now allows TSTT’s customers to make payments for their mobile. Internet, landline, or directory publications bills at over 40 Western Union Money Transfer locations nationwide. 

The service has been made possible Through Western Union Money Transfer’s new bill payment service, ‘Bill Express’. According to Western Union’s Operations Manager, Judith Romeo “Bill Express is just as efficient as paying at any TSTT payment centre, since customers will have their accounts updated in TSTT by the next working day.” Ms. Romeo noted that customers would also have the added benefit of convenient extended opening hours. “Several Western Union Money Transfer outlets are opened beyond normal working hours and usually open six days a week.” She added that the service was very easy to use and customers simply needed to walk with their telephone bills to any of the Western Union Money Transfer outlets offering the service.        

‘Bill Express’ is a significant milestone in the collaboration between TSTT and Western Union Money Transfer. Both companies are focussed on delivering consistently high levels of service to customers and “Bill Express” gives customers a convenient avenue for getting more done in less time.
