TSTT connects T&T Olympic Speedsters

Trinidad -

The accolades keep pouring in for the T&T Olympic relay sprint sensations as TSTT, an official sponsor of the T&T Olympic Committee, presented Richard Thompson, Aaron Armstrong, Emmanuel Callender, Keston Bledman, Marc Burns and Darrel Brown with a total of over $300,000 worth of products and services from the company's suite of bmobile, BlackBerry, Blink Broadband and SmartChoice brands. This follows on the heels of the company’s recent sponsorship to the value of $350,000 for the Trinidad and Tobago Olympic Committee’s Olympic programs.

According to William Powell TSTT’s Chief Marketing Officer, TSTT made the special presentation to the team because, as professional athletes and in the wake of their Olympic accomplishments, many new opportunities will open up for them. "For Richard, Keston, Aaron, Emmanuel, Darrel and Marc, we felt strongly about them having the ability to be accessible anywhere in the world. This would not only benefit their marketing but also keep them in close contact with friends and loved ones who provide that critical moral support to them."

Double Silver Medalist Richard Thompson said the team was thrilled by the continous outpouring of love and support they have been receiving. “This level of interest that organizations like TSTT have taken in our development will serve to make us even more committed to being model athletes on and off the track.”

"TSTT is extremely proud of the T&T Olympic 100 metres relay team and Richard’s success in the 100 metre finals. They have shown the kind of tenacity we respect. They took on the world against great odds and succeeded. At the same time they have remained unshakeable in their commitment to the interests of the people of Trinidad and Tobago, something we all can be proud about," said Powell.
