
bmobile rewards loyal customers with new cars and over $500,000 in prizes

Two lucky bmobile customers received the ultimate surprise at a customer appreciation event on April 2, when they were each presented the keys to a brand new fully electric car at bmobile’s St. Vincent Street carpark. The grand giveaway was part of bmobile’s ongoing commitment to rewarding customer loyalty, with over $500,000 in prizes to new and loyal customers.
For Candice Weekes and Nicholas Ramjass, both 41, winning a BYD Dolphin electric vehicle was nothing short of a miracle. Weekes, a new customer became an entrant in bmobile’s ‘There's No Christmas like My Christmas’ promotion after her daughter convinced her to sign up for additional bmobile services. Now her next goal is to secure her driver’s license.
Holding back tears she said, "I feel real happy… … excited. I never won anything in my life, so this is a big one for me. I would say, thank you Jesus, trust me!"
Ramjass, a long-standing customer of bmobile entered the competition with the purchase of a prepaid month plan, also during the ‘There's No Christmas like My Christmas’ promotion. He said his first destination in his new car will be the beach and while he has his license, he promised his brother will be the second person to drive the car.
Initially expecting to win a data plan or cash prize, he was stunned when he heard his name called for the grand prize. Ramjass said: "When I got the call, I was just told that I was a winner. But they didn't tell me exactly what it was, just that I had to be here. So, I was just waiting and just watching the other winners. I had no idea it was going to be a car. I am in shock!"
The Christmas-promotion winning duo joined 42 other winners from the bmobile’s Love My Carnival Campaign which ran from January 24 to March 7 and included 14 winners in each cash category, totaling $490,000 in cash prizes. Two winners walked away with an all expenses paid trip to Grenada's Spice Mas in August.
TSTT's CEO Kent Western said although the winners may think they were lucky, it was he and the company were the lucky ones for having such loyal customers.
